Well there is NFL.com - Mike Vanderjagt

but I hope Suisham at least gets a chance. He was better than anything we've had since Hall was healthy his first season here.

Exactly, our special teams did a pretty good job of limiting return yards this past season, but it would help them a ton if the returner didn't start at the 5 or 10 every time.

There are some pretty good kickers in college right now whether or not they are coming out this year I really don't know.

I feel like good college kickers can be pretty iffy when they get to the NFL; maybe it's because the ball is different. This is one situation where I'd really rather pick up a free agent.

Agreed. Kickers don't have a learning curve or disrupt team chemistry either. They just kick and get ignored.

Though I'm also not opposed to giving Suisham a shot.

Matty, on your note about Josh Brown not being available, this got me thinking it's perfectly possible that the players currently listed as eligible for free agency in March may be cut in half by the time March rolls around. With so many teams absolutely flush with cap space, a lot of teams will be able to keep their guys if they so choose. We might see a lot of the quality free agents reupping with their teams over the next six weeks. That applies to every position, including kicker.

I was thinking about this in terms of the Derrick Dockery situation (I know this is the wrong thread, but I'm just saying). I feel like the Skins are going to be at a huge disadvantage in terms of luring some of the free agents that we'll need.
