While other teams had inner turmoil with players crossing the picket line, Gibbs kept that unit of "scab" players together for three pivotal weeks.

Also Jason La Confora gave a report at Redskin Park and said the Skins will not bring a GM and the issue is dead - we are stuck with Vinny Cerrato and the current FO whether we like it or not....

Don't forget it was also Gibbs who personally convinced John Riggins to come out of retirement and come back to the Redskins.
