I think Jones isn't going to be ready for the regular season, so they'll be looking at Bell for the majority of the year, I think. When/if Jones gets back, it should be nice to be able to split carries, even though they're basically the same back. Jones is a little more physical, but not much. I don't like this deal if I'm the Lions.
