The offensive line for the 91 team was unbelievable. The guys played together as a unit in a way that has never been duplicated. Rypien was not a great quarterback. Gibbs created a situation where Rypien could set back in the pocket and survey the field and pick it apart without having to consider the pass rush. Like Gibbs said, there are about 4 or 5 guys out there that can play QB in the NFL if you can't protect them... but if you do protect them there are about 40 or 50 guys!
Just think... we have the Gibbs protection schemes and a vet, mobile, effiecint QB in Brunnel. This year or next could end up being a very special year for the Redskins!
