Well I don't want to put words in Big C's mouth, but I think what he was getting at when he talked about it being distasteful is that a lot of people's lives were either lost or seriously affected by these hurricanes and it sorts of belittles their suffering to equate this destruction to a victory in a football game.

It's the same reason people get upset when a football player makes a statement like "I'm a F**ing Soldier" while there are real soldiers risking their lives worldwide
