So you are incorrect to say that they wore it differently in Bosnia. Let me guess that you based that assumption on "Black-Hawk Down". It is unlawfull to impersonate a U.S. soldier, Hollywood has to make mitakes on uniforms and various other things.
Actually I based it on what I wore on my sleeve in bosnia, we had some of the same conversations there - but that is how my unit wore it.
