Re: Who DON'T you want with the 6th pick?
If we know we can get the guy we want then yeah. It comes down to how much risk is that 4th or 5th rounder worth. If there is basically no risk moving down then take the extra picks. We should get more than that though. I might hold out on principle in that case I guess.

Re: Who DON'T you want with the 6th pick?
Even dropping one spot (to #7) is worth a 4th Round Pick, dropping two spots is worth a high third round pick. We aren't talking about getting a 4th or 5th to drop down, we are talking about high first day picks. I also think people are jumping off Gaines Adams too quickly just because he weighs 260 lbs. I think it is a mute point because he won't be there is almost nothing - save maybe yards per pass attempt - that is more important to winning in the NFL than getting to the opposing teams quarterback. I don't know if Gaines Adams is going to be an elite pass rusher, but if he is that is the type of player you have to have on your team. When was the last time the Redskins had an elite pass rusher (that wasn't Bruce Smith in the twilight of his career)? Ken Harvey led the league in sacks one year (but with like 12.5), but I mean you have to go back to Charles Mann and really to Dexter Manley for the last time they had someone who could get after the quarterback on a consistent basis. I actually wouldn't mind taking Adams, but he won't be there, and I'd say Branch is the one I wouldn't want.
