Butler hasn't done diddly poo in this league for 2 years and is injury prone, which is exactly what we DO NOT NEED in our secondary after last year's debacle. I think I'd rather have Dallas Sartz make the team over Khary Campbell too, just based on potential.

I can see all 6 making it. We need the rotation. And Jimoh is our best special teams player.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

If all 6 make it, we're going to have to go with 9 O-lineman or 4 safeties, because I can tell you right now that we're going to have 5 RB's. Cartwright is too valuable on teams, Sellers is just the man, and we need Blaylock when (not IF, but WHEN) Portis and/or Betts gets dinged up. I can't see any position other than OL or S where we can afford to be light a player.

I would rather go with the 9 offensive lineman. I just happen to like Ade. Everytime we needed a big play on special teams in 05 he made it by hitting someone or forcing a fumble. And in 2006 as well against the Panthers on Steve Smith.

Letting Jimoh go would probably ruffle a few feathers in the locker room. He's a proven, durable contributor and veteran Redskin. He knows our special teams and D in and out. If we cut him in favor of Butler, it would be on a lesser level a similar mistake to ones we've made in the past. Letting proven vets go in favor of a flashier free-agent. Jimoh in, Butler out IMO. And I agree, 9 O-lineman, put the 10th guy on the practice squad in case of injury.

I agree, I think it would upset some players. I really like Jimoh, and I hope they find a way to keep him, but Butler's potential is just to much to part with, I think we can agree that IF Butler returns to form he is the much better CB, and that is what I am looking at.

I say get rid of Doughty before Jimoh. Don't care if he plays Safety.

But special teams is a 1/3 of the game, and Jimoh's contributions in that department are undeniable. So as I said before, to keep Butler and Jimoh, we'd need to lose an O-lineman.
