I think Gibbs' "hands-off" policy this spring played a big role in that. It's the whole "treat us like adults, we'll act like adults" concept. We talk about class in another thread. I think this an element of that. Having the class to come prepared to work when it's time to get down to work.

I'd give anything to have a transcript of that meeting. At any rate, we can be proud of this team. They seem to be mostly stand up guys. It's going to be a great season. I can feel it. Not the usual feeling of past years which was like when your wife/girlfriend asks if her butt looks big (not at all, sweety), but genuine excitement.
