Ok I have had all 4 taken out at seperate times and I have never been put under. Matty is this a bottom wisdom tooth or a upper wisdom tooth it makes a difference in the pain cat.?

bottom left. It's all the way through and not impacted at all.

The jaw I am sorry to say is the hard one to get but, on the bright side getting the needle in your jaw gums is much easier then in the roof of your mouth.

Outside of the shoot none of it really hurts to be honest. You are sore afterwards around your mouth from all the tugging. If you can do it without getting put under that is your best choice for a speedy recover.

After they pull it be prepared to have gauze in your mouth for the next hour. I hope you like the taste of blood. Here is a hint take like three advils before hand this way it gives you some time when you are waiting for the pain killers to kick in after the pull.

Overall the process is pretty painless, it just more the recover and inconvince of not being able to chew stuff that is the pain. Don't let that cavity go! That is where the really pain is, one of my wisdoms was apseits (sp) and it felt like a hornets nest was lodge up in my jaw!

Also last word, keep that area clean after the pull! You don't want dry socket to occur, which is a whole another story.
