Do they still give laughing gas? I could go for some of that rather than getting knocked out cold. I'll just get a few balloons filled up and I'll be ready to go!

When I got my wisdom teeth pulled (about 7 years ago), they just put me under with general anesthetic. What they use, and how they do it probably depends on the doctor you go to, and your insurance. I'm willing to bet that you could find a doctor who will use the anesthesia you want.
