How is it that Don Imus and Martha Stewart (for example) were justifiably crucified, but Vick was overly prosecuted?
Be careful... they will shut down your thread like they shut mine down

I thought yours was because of the religious undertone?

There just seems to be a lot of people out there that are upset about how everything went down, and they the only reason "we" are going after Vick is cause he's a "prominant" black athlete.
To me, that is completely bogus. Martha and Imus did much less and got much worse for their issues. (comparitively speaking)

Not really sure I even understand what this thread is about? Though if it's about whether this has been "fair" or not, of if it's a racial issue...I think those topics have been brought up several times on various threads.

I don't think they are overly prosecuting Vick. I didnt read the closed thread but who said anything about overly prosecuting? I think most people agree with what's going down.

And as a Black female, I am sick of hearing this whole racially motivated BS. Sometimes Black people need to stop overanalyzing everything as some radical racist tactic and accept this situation for what it is:

A Black guy effed up and is getting punished and leave it at that.

Well, it's what you hear when they interview people like fans, or some journalists from the Atlanta area. I've literally heard it about 15 times from 15 different people, it's quite annoying.

I really appreciate you saying that, and I 100% agree.
