I think we would have to go at least 5 - 0 just to crack the top ten. If we beat Philly and they don't put us ahead of them next week, then we can surely say they are biased against the Redskins. Of course, if the Eagles lose to us, they may plummet into the 20s because we can't possibly be any good.

If the Eagles lose to us, then everyone will say how horrible they are that they lost to the Packers and the Skins. We won't get the credit, they will be discredited. (and of course use the McNabb injury as an excuse)

That's good enough for me. I'm so sick of that bunch up there. Of course the run defense and Donovan's "lack of weapons" will get most of the blame even if his completion percentage is in the 40s again.

Re: ESPN Power Rankings

I know this is obvious, but who really cares what ESPN says? This isn't college football, rankings don't matter one lick. In another obvious statement, I am continually impressed by how little other people know about the Redskins and by the sort of ignorant statements I continually hear and read by those not closely associated with the team. Whatever, I don't have much intimate knowledge about other teams either, I guess, but barring more injuries the Skins are obviously vastly improved over last year and maybe by week 14 or 15 other people will see that.

I get what your saying about how power rankings don't matter, but I do like to see were the rank teams and whether I agree with their rankings. Did you see how high they shot the Bengals? They win one game and now they are considered the 4th best team in the NFL.

Re: ESPN Power Rankings

ESPN'S Power Rankings are bogus. Who cares about where ESPN thinks we rank? What does it matter? Why are they comparing AFC and NFC teams under one ranking? Its retarded and we know they don't respect us so why even read them.

Because we're all bored at work that's why!!

He may lack the pure quantity of weapons, but he has the single. best. weapon. in. the. game. of. football. today.

It's too bad no one notices. McNabb leads the lead in YAC from receivers year after year.
