Re: Not To Be Negative...

My biggest peeve of last night was definitely the Redskins' tackling. It was inconsistent. For a while they would swarm the ball and play awesome D, then the next series they acted like it was flag football, giving up big gains when they should have stopped the runner quickly. Hate to say it, but we ALMOST lost that game last night because of it. It was great to see "Area 51" step it up, though...including that HUGE game-saving hit by Landry...that was a thing of beauty!

JC's short/medium throws aren't off because he gets excited, they're off because he's not very good at them, at least not right now.

he did the same thing in college... great bombs, terrible shorter stuff. he doesn't need to calm down, he just needs to practice. the good news is that he HAS improved, but it's still not great.

The good thing about Campbell being good at the long ball but not so much the shorter throws is that the shorter throws are MUCH easier to correct.

Re: Not To Be Negative...

Just think, though...if Moss had gotten two more steps, it would've been the play of the week. It WILL happen, though! JC is only going to get better. He's got a GUN on him! Opposing defenses should be worried...very worried.
