A true fan will care about how well his team does, a hater would like to see other teams suffer. I know it is about winning the NFC East, but if the Redskins win their games, they wouldn't care if the if Cowboys go 14-2 as long as those two losses are against the Redskins themselves.

Try to be a fan of the Redskins, not a Cowboys, Giants, and Eagles hater.
Well that's where you're mistaken about most, if not all, Redskins fans. We are passionate about our team first and Cowboys hatred is bred into us. Of course, I don't think having true passion for a team is a concept most Cowboys fans understand. When you are losing, most of your fanbase scatters like cockroaches when the light is turned on. I'm not speaking about you specifically, but that does seem to be case more often than not within your fanbase.

I wouldn't begrudge you taking pleasure in our demise. It's a rivalry. That's what makes it fun.

We are the classic rivalry....Hate is a strong word ...but it is what it is, If we said mildly "we strongly dislike the Cowboys" lol... that just does not cover it.

My hate for the cowboys began as a young child watching the old 1970's match ups on Thanksgiving Day... with 2 mins. remaining and the SKINS ahead by 3...we get burned by the Roger/ Drew connection last second TD .Oh damn, did that sh*t ever sting...The Cowboys ruined many of would be happy Thanksgivings for DC area residents back then. I do not hate the people of Dallas nor, the Cowboy fans that post here. But IMO,the team attitude has always impressed me as extremely arrogant and full of themselves. So, I still look forward to them falling hard...one of my greatest joys.

Hold on, don't make this a battle between me and the Redskins fans. I never said they think that way, I said you do. I see a lot of Redskins fans here who are TRUE fans. They are upset that their team is making a mistake here or there, and happy when they see them succeed. You, on the other hand, care a lot about other NFC East teams losing.

LOL, very civil of you to attack a person you don't know and question their loyalty.

No, I don't take pleasure in that. Like I said before, I want the Redskins to be undefeated when they play the Cowboys and get thrashed by Dallas. I loved it when Dallas man-handled Chicago with their great "D". I don't think you played football. Why would you want to play garbage teams? It is like trying to pick a fight with a kid.

Why don't you want the Redskins to be great and play the Pats and Colts and beat them so bad they can't play the next weekend instead of worrying about how bad can the other teams get so Washington can have an easy win?

I only "hate" the team Dallas plays for about 3 hours.

First of all, this isn't a battle. My only issue was you calling out the original poster for wanting Dallas to lose. That's all. There's nothing wrong with talking smack about Dallas, especially on a Redskins board. I would expect the same treatment if I went to a Cowboys board.

I do hate Dallas with a passion. The only thing I don't wish on your team is injuries. If you're expecting me to congratulate you or be happy when you win, that's not gonna happen.

I am not expecting anything from you.

What is this debate about? She (along with most of us) DON'T like the Cowboys. It's not just about our team winning, it's also about your team losing and if you don't get that or it hurts your feelings, too bad. We're all for intelligent discussion and opposing view points around here, but don't get butt hurt because we take pleasure in a division rival losing. Personally I have two favorite teams every week, the Redskins and whoever's playing the cowboys.
If that is how you watch the game, all the power to ya. I try to enjoy the games, but that is just me. I hate the Redskins and live the rivalry for those two games every year, other than that...I can care less if they win or lose.

stop drinking that LOL
