Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread

Anyone above who defended the Patriots when they went shotgun and threw the ball on every play then went for it on 4th down up 38-0 should be embarassed. I have never seen anything like this ever. Bill Belicheck has no class, the Pats have no class, Brady has no class, that franchise has no class. I hope one of these days when Brady is in there and they are up big he just tears ever single ligament in his knee. That is absolutely pathetic. They truly are the epitomy of all that is evil. They want to show up the world because THEY were caught cheating? They are pissed because THEY were underhanded and duplicitous? Unbelievable. They are pathetic, I officially hate them and I wish only bad things for them, their players, their coaches and their ownership. I can't even express how angry I am at this moment. I would be embarassed if I were a Patriots fan. I would be embarassed if the Skins did something like that. Absolutely the worst thing I've ever seen in sports.

If anyone didn't read Gregg Easterbrook's TMQ column from last week you should take a look. It is really applicable right now. ESPN Page 2 - TMQ: Good vs. Evil

We won, and we won with class.
Yep. I remember that. That is what a class act does.

Exactly, and that loss to the Giants put us at 4-3 as well.

Quake, you have to be kidding me. We didn't have the injuries we now have back in '05, or the execution problems either. That '05 Giants loss was also a gift to the Giants since their owner passed away. Today was a total ass kicking given to us by the best football team on earth. We are a mediocre team, with the exception of the defense, which is now totally depleted in the backfield. Jets lost to the Bills today and will also be pissed next weekend. We either can get mad from this game or just tuck our tails between our legs, which worries me. This team hasn't shown much character all season.

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread

I thought we could squeak out a hard fought victory. Instead, we got blown out. Key injuries and costly turnovers didn't help at all. But it's not time to give up on the team.

They should just walk off the field now to save whatever little bit of pride they have left, if any

I must admit I'm on track for feeling a youth movement in DC. We've been doing what we're doing for some time, and it hasn't exactly paid off very well.

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread

This is beyond embarassing. I would be surprised if our offense is ranked higher than 30th and our defense ranked higher than 14th by the end of the day. Granted, stats don't matter, but we are just getting straight up demolished.

My faith in JC and this offense has been shaken to the core.
