Carter used his status as a talking head to take a shot at Monk, who would NEVER do something like that, even if he WERE in a public position.

Art is being denied due to the poor selections of a lot of flashy self-promoters rather than guys who shut their mouths, worked their asses off, and oh yeah, just happened to win a bunch of Super Bowls.
