Re: Its time for joe to step down.

Why is it all you gibbs haters refuse to see that we have a plethera of injuries??? Give another team the injuries we have and no way do they go 5-4 to this point. Gibbs is doing a good job with what he has.

And for the guy that said fired GW...remember he is dealing with a lack of a pass rush, and injuries to the secondary. You can't expect miracles when your best team is sitting on the bench.

Injuries had little to do w/ the game today IMO. Losing ST was big but he's only one player and Praylow is a veteran. We lost because we couldn't get in the endzone when it mattered, because of horrific clock management, and because we're generally-speaking the sloppiest, most disorganized team in professional football. That's all coaching. IMO.

I didn't say today...and if you fire someone for 1 day, you should be locked up.

First off, who the heck is Praylow? Secondly, it's funny how you completely ignore all the mistakes the defense made.

Praylow is the guy with the funny last name, which I refuse to try to spell correctly because I don't want to look it up. Secondly, mistakes on defense are part of "generally speaking the sloppiest, most disorganized team in professional football." Penalty after penalty (on both sides of the ball) is sloppy and disorganized. Defense caving in when ONE FRIGGIN GUY goes out w/ an injury is sloppy and disorganized. IMO.

He probably thinks your last name is funny...

He probably can't spell my last name either, even though it only has four letters.

Wait.. my last name on the site is Fan, that's only three letters.

No, you're too lazy to look up Prioleau. Secondly, besides Betts putting the ball on the ground, the offense was quite organized today.

How was the clock management horrific today? Could you cite specific examples?

We blew two TO's in second half that would have come in quite handy w/ 2:31 left on a last ditch drive. Also called a TO earlier w/ 2:06 on the clock that seemed to only benefit Philly.

Calling time out to avoid running a bad play doesn't have anything to do with clock management.

well it could if its too early, like in the third. then forcing you to decide in the fourth how to deal with the remaining time with 2 time outs.

or how about when we didnt have any timeouts to challenge the CAUGHT ball by mccardell i believe. i understand that had nothing to do with clock management, but the first part does.

It wouldn't have been reversed anyway, so that's a moot point. Why are you not going to call time out on a play that isn't going to work? Since Saunders's offense does not audible, you have to call timeout. It happens with every team. That has nothing to do with clock management. In fact the Redskins offense today was almost in a no huddle for much of the game anyway, so complaining about clock management is illogical.

Earlier, as in the first half when they were about to punt and we were trying to prevent them from running the clock down to two minutes? That was the right move at the time and Philly did not end up scoring. If they hadn't of called the To then, you'd be bitching about that.

As to the last drive, TO's don't do any good when you can't get a first down so it was not a factor. It could have been but it wasn't. 2:30 is plenty of time to move down the field with or without TOs. Yes you would prefer to have them, but it had little impact on the game today.
