Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys predictions
The redskins are a good team. They could've been 8-1 in this season. The 2nd half collapse are what ruined them in every game. The cowboys are a good team with the win over teams that the redskins couldn't defeat. Also, the cowboys challenged the patriots in the early going of the game. The redskins were dominanted from kickoff to finish.
Records don't count in a rivalry game like this because anything can happen. I don't expect this game to be a blow out on any way, shape, or form from either side. I think it will be a good close game that will come down to the end like most of the Cowboy/Redskin games. I don't go against the Redskins on any game. Redskins 27 Cowboys 24 Redskins kicker Suisham that missed an extra point during the Eagles game will win by a game winning field goal at the end to redeem himself |

Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys predictions
I think this will be ugly. Dallas will key on the run and they will be successful stopping it. The offensive line will struggle opening holes in the running game and protecting the quarterback. Jason Campbell and his new receiver corps will also struggle mightily. Defensively we'll give up no less than five plays of more than 40 yards because we can't get pressure on Romo and we can't cover their receivers, tight end and backs out of the backfield at the same time.
Bad day for Skins fans. Cowboys 44 Redskins 20 (after 10 garbage points in the 4th quarter) ![]() |

Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys predictions
So, for those of you who say, "I never go against the Redskins" -- did you honestly expect them to go 16-0 this season?
That's what you expect and hope for? An undefeated season? As if we're on par with the Patriots? |

Well, on a macro level, I don't think very many people expect a 16-0 season. On a micro level, I would like to think that a lot of people hope to win that particular week. It's the same ole, tired argument of Realist versus Optimistist versus Pessimist versus 724Skinsfan. Redskins win 28-21...decidedly! Thanks to Campbell connecting on long passes to Randle El and Cooley for 3 scores early in the game. Romo tries to mount rally after rally but penalties and turnovers plague the Cowboys until the 4th quarter when they score twice in the final 4:37 minutes.
