I wouldn't be surprised if you're all wrong. We stepped it up against a better team, just to play as inconsistently as we did the weeks before when the chips were down. We were good enough to "just" lose. That is our signature right now. That is who we are.

We're 3-3 in games decided by 7 or less. That's hardly who we are. We are a team hurting, and we produced a great offense vs a very tough team. The Cowboys are likely the 2nd best team in football, and we played an honorable game.

Even if they're "only" the best team in the NFC, they're still one of the top 3-4 teams in the NFL this year, and we had a chance to beat them right down to the final minutes.

This is, frankly, what I expected us to do against the Patriots -- surprise a team most expected to steamroll us, especially given injuries and questions about our offense.
