I was disappointed in the result of the game. but so proud of our team. Wheither we make the playoffs or not, next year should be great under Campbell.

Ultimately who cares about this year anyway, the Patriots are SO GOOD that I am really just waiting for Brady to win another one so that maybe some of those Patriots will retire and give the rest of the league has a chance!

I have to agree. I've been a skeptic most of the season, picking against the Skins a few times because I just didn't think they had what it takes yet, but I'm starting to get excited about what they could do to close out the season. If the secondary can hold up and not give away such big plays, I think this team can be dangerous, despite the myriad numbers of injuries.

I hope JCs passion is contagious...they could really make a statement this week in Tampa Bay.

You bring up a good point. I have a good feeling (sorry Schneed) that people will give Gibbs more credit for revitalizing the franchise after he leaves than while he was here.

It's funny no one is saying we gave up too much for Campbell now. But didn't we give up two picks and not three? Why do I keep hearing three picks? I'm confused.

But you can sorta see some of the pieces fall into place.

It's pure passion Dude. Some people wear their emotions on their sleeve. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion. I'd rather he be crying in the locker room than joking around and laughing after a loss like that. You see more of that from these professional athletes than anything else.

I disagree. All the qb's Gibbs has every really had have been run of the mill servicable qb's. He has however been able to get all of them to play very well at times.

Whatever man, This was JC's biggest game thus far in his career. He knows how much Dallas games mean to us, and fought incredibly hard to deliver. The kid has a lot on his shoulders right now, and as long as he remains cool and collected on the field, then what does it matter if he gets a little emotional afterwards. To be honest I wanted to cry after the game, and I EXPECT my QB to have AT LEAST as much emotion as I do, I think it is endearing, humbling, and it will give his team reason to fight even harder for him.

Even back in the day when coaches had a bigger role in player development than they do now, so QBs had to be evaluated differently, doesn't Gibbs get the credit for picking out the right guys for his system?

Nowadays, I don't believe system QB's exist, but back in the day I feel there were some pretty good examples, and Gibbs pushed all the right buttons and found guys cheap that could do the job for him (Schroeder, Williams, Rypien, etc.)

Actually, Campbell doesn't wear his feelings on his sleeve at all. He's pretty even keel, which makes this even more eye opening.

If you look around the NFL, QB play is absolutely terrible in more places than not. Trading up for Campbell will be the greatest legacy of Gibbs 2.0.
