I've been REAL happy with the D. The offense continues to put ALL the pressure on the D.
But last night, I thought something different happened. The defense was extremely fired up, swarming, totally stifling the Ravens in the first half. THEN, they took the long MNF halftime break, THEN they did not get on the field until very late in the 3rd quarter. VERY long time to rest and calm down. When they took the field late 3Q, they immediately looked to me like their fire had gone out. They did not look tired, but UNINSPIRED the rest of the game. Just my 2 cents...

Well if you won't refer to them as a great defense then read the stats dude.
http://www.nfl.com/stats/teamsort/NF...r?sort_col_1=4 This is a great defense and we have been missing lots of starters, Daniels, Barrow, Lavar, Pick a Saftey. SO go and tear apart a another segment of our team like the special teams or offense. But wake up and watch the games, cause our defense is AWSOME :smashfrea |

Shawn Springs was saying tonight that the defense really suffered when Joe Salave'a went out with a knee injury in the second half
Salave'a should be fine for next week. Can't say enough good things about the job he and Griffin have done this year
