I love the pregame stuff and realy think that the NFL Network does a good job up until we get to the announcers. I thought Hammond was a big improvement, but that speaks more to how bad Gumble is.

At least Hammond wasn't messing up players' names and forgetting who plays for what team. You know, the basics of announcing a game.

It was his mono tone I guess which reminded me of Gumble and yes he did do a better job with the names and stuff. I wonder if the NFL Netwok trying to do the opposite of ESPN and trying to make it about the game and not the personalities of the announcers or the 5,000 people ESPN interviews through out the game?
