Re: Your MVP this year?

Great thread, and extremely tough choice if we're not doing Co-MVPs. If I had to pick one, I'd have to go with Cooley. If I could pick multiple folks, I'd go with:

Offense: Cooley
Defense: Carter (could make a case for Sean Taylor despite his missing a third of the season and the rest of eternity)

Special teams: Doesn't matter - Rock and Suisham have both been solid, but I wouldn't elevate either to MVP status.

Collins doesn't get picked only because he didn't play the first three quarters of the year.

In fairness, this team has had several MVPs. Can anyone honestly say Springs and Smoot haven't played like Pro-Bowlers the last few games? Portis too. Samuels? Montgomery? Fletcher? It is a testament to the team that its hard to single out one person as the MVP.

I haven't seen two corners bring it like Smoot and Springs late this year. Over the past 3 or 4 games, they're playing as good as any tandem in the league.

Agreed. And Landry has been unbelievable in terms of the number of key plays he has made. Saved the MNF game against Philly early in the year, saved the 4th and 1 against Adrian Peterson and the Vikes when they were gaining momentum, just to name a few.
