Not concerned about that. The Cowboys did not try to play yesterday. The outcome was predictable days before the game. 5 key starters did not even make the trip to DC.

The team made no secret of the fact that the primary goal was to emerge from the regular season without major injury. Not to win at Washington, mind you. The playbook was cut in half and what was seen was very "vanilla" offensive and defensive schemes.

Cowboys did not even show up yesterday. Everyone knew that was what was going to happen, and that is what did happen.

Props to you. You called the outcome, although not the score, correctly. I do think the Skins are the biggest threat given our play recently and our relative health. Don't think the G-Men are as healthy after Sunday's game. Congrats on being a T.V. star, albeit on a Skins message board. That had to be strange.

Yea keep telling your self that. Romo into the 3rd and you had how many rushing yards? Why even play Romo then? Yes I know that they did not play several starters but how poor they did play would worry me if I was a D fan. Even if what you have said is true what does it say about a team who can go out and not even try.

For a team not trying to win, explain to me the challenge right before the half.

And oh by the way lets not talk about a team playing without key starters.

How many injuries do we have again?

Of course they are going to challange a play they know their going to be able to get reversed. That has nothing to do with playing safe and not caring to much abut the win.

Hey sandtrapjack, I'm just curious here, how many players did your team put on IR this year? Oh, and also did your best player on defense get murdered this year too? Just asking....

Okay, a few things, about your team:

1)We almost beat you at home at full strength, we didn't have ST, and you guys threw 4 deep bomb scores. All of your points. Dont expect it now with TO nursing an injury, and Laron Landry at short safety.

2) 27-6 is enough said. You played with much of your starters until your second set in the 3rd quarter. We kicked your excuse for a team's ass.

3) We are sprinting into the play-offs and improving every game. You guys are limping in, with 2 losses, and an almost loss to Detroit.

If I were you, I'd pray the Seahawks get it done. If not, you shouldn't feel so confident; when Americas REAL team flies into Dallas.

Come on, can you honestly smell what you are cooking? You are talking about a team that had a 7 game winning streak and a 5 game winning streak in the regular season. Then, when the playoffs and division are clinched, they play a little less inspired ball and go 2-2 in the month of December. Let’s take a look at some other division winners teams and compare:

Pittsburgh: 2-3 in December
Tampa Bay: 2-3 in December
Seattle: 3-2 in December
Indy: 4-1 in December, should mention that last season they were 2-3 in December and won the Super Bowl
Patriots: 5-0 in December. But prior to clinching a playoff spot their average margin of victory was over 21 points per game. After clinching…10 points per game margin. (Just goes to show you that even with their “B” game they can beat you.)

I am just saying that after a playoff berth is secured the #1 priority for teams is to remain relatively healthy. To do that teams cut the playbook in half and play relatively “safe” football.

I have to say that I am glad to see the mood on this site improve. And at the risk of sounding condescending, I have to say I am proud of the Warpathers. Why it was just 3 weeks ago there were countless threads on how “the season was over”, “forget about the playoffs” “who do we draft”. You had several fans here that wrote of their team.

And you know the ironic part of the whole thing? Myself and Giantone were 2 of the BIGGEST supporters of the Redskins during that time! Look at our history of posts and you will see what I mean. We never wrote the Skins off, but many of your own fan base did. I know if you searched my post history you will find several posts of mine and Giantone that stated how well the Redskins do historically in December, and how it was predicted that the Redskins would get that final Wildcard spot.

However as a fan of my team I never have lost faith in my Cowboys. They will rumble in the playoffs, of this I am sure. Some here say I “should be worried”, but I will let you worry for the both of us, because I am not worried in the least.

Redskins WILL BEAT Seattle and it will be back to the good old days when the Redskins come to Texas Stadium with a trip to the NFC Championship on the line.

You could not write a BETTER post season scenario than that!
