Re: Scouts Inc. ranks the playoff coaches
#4: Joe Gibbs is one of the best coaches of all time and will eventually be in the Hall of Fame, and this season he has done a great job of managing his team down the stretch in the wake of the Sean Taylor tragedy. However, his clock management has not been great and there are times when it appears the game has passed him by. Gibbs has two excellent sidekicks, though, in offensive coordinator Al Saunders and defensive coordinator Gregg Williams. Gibbs has never been great as a delegator, so it is important that he does not try to be too hands-on in the postseason and allows his coaches to do their jobs, and if he does that, the Redskins will be a dangerous team in the playoffs.[/QUOTE]
Yes, he has done a wonderful job such as calling timeouts he doesn't have and costing his teams game. But he's in the Hall of Fame, its ok!
