Not comparing as much as just indicating my wish for a well thought out decision. Carroll in my opinion is not the answer, nor is Cowher.
But if you insinuate that a 33-31 record as head coach in the NFL (per Wikipedia) is what we want, then Pete Carroll is the man.
He did have some success with a divisional championship in N.E. but was fired 2 times in 5 years (deservedly?...maybe not) and don't see what has changed since 1999.
I actually like Carroll quite a bit and appreciate what he has done at USC but don't think he is the man.
