Well if Moss is the precedent, then no.
If not, then yes I would seriously consider it. I saw a lot of Lions games this year and, while he has his faults, he's still IMO an elite WR. Of course, this would cause serious backlash among the fan base for trading a draft pick. But I think we can still fill many of our needs even if we trade for him.

Amazing that two elite receivers are on the trade market. How can the Danny resist? Also, would a Limas Sweed, Adarius Bowman or a Mario Manningham be a better acquisition than Roy Williams? We'd be lucky if one of those guys is still around when our #2 selection comes up. If upgrading the WR position is a priority, I'd rather do it with this trade. |
