If it's a promotion for him and his family and they want to go... good! We pick up guys from other staff's to better their careers and our team and it is what it is. Jerry has been a good coach, but, at the level he is I am sure there are no less then 50 names you could come up with to promote and fill his spot. Someone young, hungry and willing to prove they have what it takes in the nfl.

Stays = good for us
Goes = good for him, his family and who knows.. maybe us

We played less then .500 ball over the last four years - I think this sexy new word ''continuity'' needs to be relaxed. We had 'continuity' for four years. Yea, we made the playoffs - after busting our ass in those two years to fight our way in. The other two years.... SUCKED! Losing Wildcard Weedkend... SUCKS! It will all be good in the end.

HAIL!!!

You sure are chipper. I got news for you, losing in the playoffs "SUCKS". Losing the Super Bowl "SUCKS". Anything short of hoisting a Lombardi trophy "SUCKS".

You know what sucked more than being a Redskins fan during the past 4 years of continuity you're mocking? Being a fan of any of these teams: Arizona, Buffalo, Detroit, Miami, Houston, Cleveland, San Francisco, Oakland .. they haven't even PLAYED in a playoff game in the past four years.

Or how about these guys, who have managed to get into the playoffs but haven't won a single: Dallas, Kansas City, Cincinnati.

Or any number of teams who have managed to appear in a handful of playoff games in the last couple of years and win one or two as we have: Denver, Carolina, Atlanta, Minnesota, St. Louis, New York Jets, Baltimore, Jacksonville, Chicago, New Orleans, San Diego, Tennessee, Tampa, oh and GREEN BAY, who by the way has won only two playoff games in the past four years.

So if you're complaining that all that "continuity" was a crock, and it's all gonna be good when we clean house and bring a new flavor of the month, perhaps you'd better reconsider what an accomplishment that really was.

I think that just about summarizes the mental capacity you're capable of mustering. Thanks for making the point for me.
