they did.

they keyboardist had bass pedals and played bass with his feet, or he could if he wanted to anyways. that was pretty common when the whole bass thing wasn't quite mainstream yet.

The key board player probably plays Bass licks on his key board whiich is very common. Hey I have congas and can travel. What is the difference in pricing from the partial to full band? Remember the more people drink the better the band sounds.
