My respect level for Belicheck just went up.
I think if Monk was still playing or came on a few years later Belicheck would have moved heaven and earth to get Monk on his team.

There isn't a team in the NFL that wouldn't jump at getting Art Monk in his prime. This whole situation is so friggin' asinine that I just don't care about the HOF anymore.
