I know this wouldn't happen, but what if none of these candidates accepted the conditions which have been laid out for this head coaching job? Who is left (other than Russ Grimm) who would interview for this job?

Chances are it's got to be someone who isn't currently coaching at any level in the NFL: Fassel (good), Cowher (good), Billick (not so good), Carroll (indifferent), Green (amusing), Marty (unlikely)

Right. With the exception of Cowher and Carroll, I believe the rest of those guys would jump at the chance to be a head coach no matter the situation. I know that most head coaches want to surround themselves by staff that they appoint (and who's to say this hasn't already happened with Fassel,) but I just think it's an easy situation to be in. The staff is already there in place. No need to "round up" other coaches. I guess in the techie sense, it's "plug and play". Let's hope it works out!
