Since then, what "over the hill" players have the Skins signed for big $? We've brought in some old vets at low prices, e.g. Godfrey, Fabini & Wade, but look at all the others we've signed, they're all under 30 & in their prime:
Coles, ARE, Loyd (no prime for this guy though, lol), Carter, Washington, Springs, Griffin, even Arch.
The only over 30 players we gave considerable $ to since 01 that I can think of are Phillip Daniels & Brunell, both aren't stars but IMO have been good contributors. Of courese more recently Collins, but we know he's got value for us.

i'm more concerned about dropping the ball on good talent..in my eyes the best pick-up trade or FA is clinton portis and springs..Carter had a good season but lets call a spade a spade.Arch,Lloyd and even Brunell(in my eyes cost us more games then won)are noteable bad choices. I'm just saying if there was a time to spend its now.

I laugh at you Colt Brennan haters. You're the same guys who didn't wanna bench Brunell for Campbell. The tables will turn.
