Boschetti re-signs, offers made to Caldwell, Frost, Fabini

Nothing major, but depth is important too.

Link for the Boschetti re-signing... Redskins Re-sign Boschetti

Link for the others... Waiting On Fabini, Frost

Also, it looks like Justin Geisinger re-signed. Apparently he was on our practice squad, but I don't remember it.

Apparently Frost expected some more money in the free agent market, and it's looking like a Rock Cartwright situation- he'll come back and sign b/c there's nothing else out there.

I'd like to have Fabini back for depth behind Randy Thomas, although I heard Parcells was interested in him.

Glad to have Boschetti back.

Hopefully Reche Caldwell will take the offer, and if he does I still think we should draft a WR because Santana has been pretty injury prone, if Derrick frost is resigned I hope that we sign him to a 1 year deal and bring in heavy competition

I like everyone we offered to. Frost is very underrated I think, and Caldwell is just the depth we need.

gah.. I really want to work around drafting a wide receiver. If we can work to develop Anthony Mix that would be much better IMO. Besides, if anything gets done with Hackett, we would fulfill our needs at the wide receiver as I see it..

I like Boschetti, but how long can that dude keep making the team before some young talent beats him out?

I thought Rock already re-signed a couple of days ago to a 3 mil 3 yr deal? Fabini always seems to be brought back....then cut....to only be brought back due to injuries. I'm not sure of his age but we should just keep him. He's always a trooper and gets the job done.

Hey Dirtbag....I forgot where our other lovely ladey is pulling up her drawers. LOL. Also if this is going to be a tradition then maybe put them in a "Re-signing" thread or in the "Cap" thread. LOL.

Rock did re-sign. My point is that he asked for $2M guaranteed, we didn't give it to him, so he tested the market and wasn't drawing any interest. So he basically had little choice except to come back and sign for what we offered. Same situation is playing out with Frost.

I actually agree, I dont see us drafting a WR at all becasue well, we are simply NOT good at drafting WR's. We have plenty of young talent at WR, why draft more? It takes at least 3 years for a WR to become fully developed in this league. And IMO, I think we will bring in a stud vet, to help develop Mix and help teach him things. Mix will get some time in as situational player and hopefully we will win by a lot this year and we can throw him in and let him get some experience. He has shown flashes and has a motor. He also has chemistry with JC(our qb) because they played together in college, actually jason asked for them to pick him up.

He has everything going for him, he just needs to step up and produce when given the chance. he is still very raw right now though.
