Re: Draft - Combine/Pro Day results, info from KFFL

quick notes on last three posts:

Kent State CB Jack Williams basically maxed out his work out except for his 20 yard dash (which still isn't bad). 6.6 3cones aren't very common. neither are 5'9" guys hitting 41" on the vert.
college stats:
2007 - 93 tackles (70 solo), 3 ints, 7 tackles for loss, 8 PD, 1 FF
2006 - 62 tackles (40 solo), 4 ints (1 td), 8 tcakles for loss, 4 PD, 5 FF, 3 sacks (and 2 hurries)
2005 - 63 tackles (42 solo), 4 ints, 3 tackles for loss, 9 PD, 1 FF

projected to go in the low 4th. good value pick there, for sure.

bowman had a TERRIBLE showing. there are 290lb linemen that can run that fast (even if it's not that many). terrible 20 and 3cone too... just bad.

schmitt (WVA FB) looked good, golston looked like a beast, D Bryant will have the best 3cone this year. (combine record is 6.56 i believe, his pro day was a 6.51). not that that by itself means much of anything. he is a decent late rounder though (3 years of 1000yards receiving and he does returns).

vikings might take D thomas #17 overall...
