Not Renewing My Season Tic's

My buddy who has season tickets (aka the reason I can go to about 7 games a year) doesn't think he's going to renew his tickets for many of the same reasons.
His thought is that it will end up being cheaper for him to buy tickets for every regular season game on the internet because he won't have to pay full price for meaningless preseason games or the taxes and fee associated with the seats.
He's also mad that he's been told that the only way he can get upgraded parking (he's been in the blue lot for about 6 years now) is if he joins the tailgate club, which he is totally against.
I'm mad because this could mean that I won't have the chance to go to nearly as many games as I'd like to but I understand where my friend is coming from.
