I would say the same for about 60 other players in this draft. It's all relative to slot. If we get the compensatory 3rd rounder that people expect us to next week, I think we could get value on Nelson at that spot, provided that our more critical needs have been filled first.
WR is a critical need.

Did something happen to Santana or ARE that I'm not aware of?

Critical need?

We definately could use one, but in the same way that we need offensive linemen to replace the 5 guys who are over thirty right now?

That would definately be a misapplication of resources. Especially since the draft is stronger on the OL than at WR.

Jordy Nelson would be a steal for us, only in the third round....

WE need to adress the De position 1st round DE Phllip Merling or CB Aquib Talib

2nd Round Saftey Josh Barrett or Wr Manningham

3rd Round WR Jordy Nelson or Jason Jones DE

Compensatory 3rd CB Zach Bowman

pass rush,safety wr,cb........ lb 5th / og 6th/ og-t 7th/ dt 7th

Oh...I don't know...maybe....constant groin pull. almost what every year? or Hammie? I love Santana but he has his injuries.

I do like Mix though. I'm betting he puts a lot of this to rest for us. Everyone is on the other side of the fence simply because he got cut from the Giants but I'm betting he's better then most of us think. He was supposed to replace one of their best WR but got cut to make room for another player in another position. I pray he teaches them a lesson come game 1.

This doesn't mean I'm not for a bigger WR though or a proven (CJ) WR.
