Have the Skins ever had the number 1 overall pick? I can't recall that ever happening.

None of us would probably be able to recall, but they did in 1962 and 1948 (Harry Gilmer). In 1962 they drafted Ernie Davis, the first African-American to win the Heisman, first overall. The Skins traded him to the Browns who hoped to have him and Jim Brown in the same backfield. Unfortunately Davis died of leukemia at 23 before playing his first NFL game.

Chris Long. He is the type of player that would be an asset to any team in terms of both ability and character. Impact player, smart guy, team player, role model.
