I definitely see your point. I think the fear is that if the team lets Chad go, TJ may raise hell too. Supposedly neither receiver is happy. I'll defer to people in the know (i.e., SS).

On the other hand, the inmates have been running the asylum in Cincy and I think Marvin knows he has to get control of the team. Moreover, Chad has never categorically said he would not, under any circumstances, play for the team. I think Marvin and the Bengals F.O. is hoping this is a Briggs situation that will blow over by September.
