Re: Merged: The Movies Thread

the interesting thing about the Happening for me is that this is M.Night's first attempt into an R rated horror film and from the red band trailer that's on a couple different sites, makes the movie seem 10x more brutal than the regular trailers would lead you to believe the movie is going to be. M. Night just seems to be someone who could come up with a really creepy ass horror flick so I'm pretty intrigued.

Here's hoping he makes up for his last few ones... I honestly don't need a twist in every movie he does, but I hear this one has it.

The one movie I'm looking forward to this summer:

I'm just gonna throw this question out on this thread since it's not football related and not threadworthy- did the screen layout just change? My margins just got narrower for some reason...

Plus on the home page I can't see my avatar, can't see who created each thread, and can't see who the last to post on a thread was... wtf?

It all changed for me too.

EDIT - back to normal. I can stop crying now.

That was weird. It's back to normal for me now too. Like a 20 hour aberration.

mredskins - That quote is the creepiest! It's exactly what drew me in... "Because you were home"... wow! I think The Strangers is based on the Manson murders.

dmek- I saw that Romero flick in the theaters... was lucky enough to catch it for the week it was on the big screen. It's called "Diary of the Dead." Not his best effort into the series, but it had some cool death scenes. It takes the whole technology angle vs. zombies (the movie is shot verite-style and you'll see stuff like MySpace pop up).
