Goodell had been in San Antonio meeting with New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson, and he decided to stop over in Dallas to see some old friends. According to coach Wade Phillips, defensive tackle Tank Johnson gave the commissioner a standing ovation when he entered the room. "Tank calls him Roger," joked Phillips. "I call him commissioner."
