Jacobs is a first round pick although he was picked in the second round. I hope we have some serious threat with our passing game this year. I also liked the bit about how the coaching staff looked at the top 5 passing and rushing teams in the league. They even said they'd have no problem with stealing plays from these teams.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Jacobs was a steal where we got him. The kid is lightning fast. If we tell both Coles and Jacobs to run a fly, they'll both be wide open. He's a gifted receiver and I really think he deserves a shot. If it weren't for a rare injury, Jacobs might have been starting last year.

Can anyone else see a reformation of the Posse happening? Coles - Clark (without the attitude), Jacobs - Sanders, McCants - Monk (that may be a bit of a stretch at this point). And those guys never had a RB like Portis drawing the safeties in, either.

Champ Bailey said that Jacobs had the potential to be the BEST WR on the team. I've had confidence in Taylor's abilites ever since. He showed some of what he's got in the dallas game last year.

I agree with the reformation of the Posse but IMO it should be Gardner and not McCants. Not to take away from McCants but in 2002 Gardner shown that he had what it takes to be a #1 WR on a team with over 1,000 yards and 8td's on a very inefficient passing team that played QB by committee revolving them as if they a pair of used socks.

Quite ironic that a "Spurrier guy" who many people weren't happy with the Skins picking may end up as a real "Gibbs guy" and one of the "core Redskins"....go figure.....

The Skins do Rock! :headbange
(you know I had to do it at some point!)
