Re: It's Dallas week!

This game scares me. Coming off a blowout loss to the Steelers at home (yes a blowout, considering the only points the Skins scored came off 2 early mistakes within the first 5 minutes of the game), with a sputtering offense...and quite possibly no Portis, it just doesn't look good.

Don't get me wrong, the Cowboys are struggling too, 2-4 in the last 6. But they get Romo and Newman back, which could be the spark they need.

The Redskins will have to dig deep and really put pressure on the Cowboys to perform. If the Skins can get up early and force the Cowboys to abandon the run, we could see a repeat of the 1st game. When Romo is pressured, he makes mistakes. However, if Alexander/Betts/Cartwright cannot run the ball, it's going to be a long day for Campbell and the Skins offense.

And because this is a rivalry game, you can throw out all the records, injuries, trivial things because these games get ugly.

No prediction here...just hope that those Skins that can, step up, and they are able to contain the Cowboys.

It depends on which Newsman we get back. Newman was back from injuries for the first time the Boys played the Redskins, and Moss made him look average. If he's really healthy, that will be huge.

Honestly, I'm a little disappointed that Portis might not play. If the Cowboys somehow win this thing (which I just don't see happening, even after putting on those lovely rose colored glasses), the talk will be not of the win, but of the fact that the Redskins were down their best player.

It's always better to see two great teams play at full strength.

That is incorrect. It was the Redskins game that Newmans real injury was revealed.

All through training camp he was said to have a "groin strain". It was after Moss torched Newman for that 53-yard bomb that we knew T-New was not healthy and should not have played in that game.

It was after that game they discovered the sports hernia. He had surgery and sat out the last few weeks. And now hopefully he is back.

Newman gets torched when he's healthy, too. He's always been way overrated IMO, and I'm not just saying that because he's a Cowboy.

Yeah he sure got "torched" last night.
INT, held Moss to only 29 yards receiving. Perfect position to stop that pass on the 4th down in the final quarter.

Your right...HE SUX!

I think it had more to do with the fact that our oline couldn't give Campbell enough time to even take 3 steps back little alone wait for a reciever to run his route then it did with how great Newman played. He did make some good plays, but Moss never had time to get open because of Campbell getting pressured continuously.

Sandtrapjack, good to see you finally crawled out from under the rock you have been hiding for weeks after all your trash talking and guaranteed win last meeting.

You're pathetic. At least D'Boyz shows up win or lose. I don't want to hear from you this week. Go run to your own message board.

You're a typical coward. You disappear when we beat you, and show up talking smack when you win. What a joke.

Just like the Cowboys- arrogant when you succeed, tuck your tail and hide under adversity. You should be banned for nothing more and nothing less than just being a joke.
