The problem isn't as much having the players (though I agree they need more) to improve the team, it's more so making the commitment to play those players. The reality is that that commitment could mean you deal with a couple of dreadful seasons where we aren't hovering around the playoff picture until the final week. I agree those guys are getting more experience, unfortunately most are not playing at the positions where we need the most help, the offensive and defensive lines. I think our defense would be dominant if we had a defensive lineman that could rush the QB and command double teams. And I really think our offense would be pretty good if we could just provide some protection for Campbell. These are the areas where we haven't improved at all. In fact we lost Daniels which was one of our better lineman.

Well, I think that we have some good young pieces (still missing a dominant piece) on the defensive line but would agree that we need much more help on the offensive line. Although I have really high hopes for Rinehart and think Heyer is at least decent.

Losing Daniels definitely hurt us, but what arguably hurt us just as much was that his backup who was supposed to play a bigger role this season (Alex Buzbee) got hurt on the same day.
