Thanks..............hey wait a minute.

Anyway I am one of the 100 that signed the petition. Maybe it's just a knee jerk reaction from hearing Vinny talking with Mel Kiper on his radio show about potential receivers in next years draft. Personally I don't know who's truly to blame when it comes to the whole Receivers fiasco but at the very least I believe that Vinny is an enabler when it comes to Snyder's desire to go after fancy playmakers and at the same time neglect the lines for so many years. I will admit he at least showed adament interest in lineman prior to the draft and I have a feeing that maybe all this critism about our front lines might go to his head leading us to draft up front this year but the bottom line is I don't trust him to do whats right in the long run.

Still if that Jay Glazer rumor is to be believed then 2009 is Cerrato and Zorns last chance to make this team a contender. At the very least I hope that this year has changed Cerrato's philosophy about building a team and maybe he might actually end up as a quality "GM."

I really meant no offense Dbag, as I was having a "satirical moment"...... albeit at the expense of my Xtreme brothers and sisters.
It's fair to give Vinnie and JZ the boot after next season if real improvement is not seen. I believe that to oust either this season is irresponsibly reactionary, and would serve only to invite chaos, not to mention the ire of the sporting world, which would be well deserved.

Ha ha, none taken I just didn't want to pass up the opportunity to use a joke like that, though of course I really did sign the petition. A feat I regretted as soon as they told me I won a free iPod after signing for being the 50th signature.

One of the more interesting threads I found while cruising ES today said Glazer was told by Vinny Cerrato that Snyder was giving both him and the new coach two years to be successful. Apparently Glazer divulged this information on his Friday Night Show on FSN. If I'm right then it's probably the one thats currently being co-hosted with Eddie George and Shawn Merriman.

That seems fair to me, if by successful he means a marked improvement over this year. I hope it's true because I think one more year would give a better perspective of what kind of coach and GM we really have here.

Hey, let's not be hasty with Cerrato. After all, he's only had NINE YEARS.

Agreed, he may not be calling the shots, but at the very least he is guilty of being a "yes man"- if Synder isn't listening to him, he should quit in protest...what is the point of rearranging the deck chairs of the titanic when its headed straight for an iceberg?
