Last Game At Texas Stadium

And it ends with the fans booooooooing Dallas off the field and the playoffs all but done. Got to love that.

Dallas fans are fickle as any in the NFL.

Glad to see Dallass fade in the late season. Wish we could take advantage of their lame act.

Was that Stanley Richards in Ken Hamlins Jersey?

He gift wrapped that game to Baltimore.

He should have had the fumble that Mason recovered and Missed tackles on both the TD runs.

That ending to the game couldn't have been any more beautiful. I haven't seen a run defense fall apart like that in a while.

Dallass stadium sucks. Artificial turf is just freaking lame.

They can have real grass in Texas is Jerry wasn't so cheap.

Re: Last Game At Texas Stadium

I posted this on the , so it's a dupe, but it obviously has relevance here:

I dedicate this, my 4,000th post on The Warpath, to Texas Stadium going out with an embarrassing, bed wetting loss by Dallas. Another poor December showing for Romo, and now "America's Team" (cough - horseshit - cough) loses control of their playoff destiny and looks pretty dumb on national TV.

I loved all the shots of Jerry Jones looking dejected and pissed off in the stadium's owner's box for the last time. And the crowd boos their Cowboys with a minute left in Texas Stadium's last game!! YES!!!!!

Think about this: The Cowboys opponent's very last offensive play ever in Texas Stadium history was THE LONGEST RUN by a visiting team in stadium history!! Literally going down in utter shame.

My goodness this game made me happy.

I don't think you can blame that on JJ. He inherited the stadium along with the team and the way its designed limits the sun the field gets so growning grass would not be that easy. The cardnals new stadium the field is on a track and they can roll it out of the stadium so it gets plenty of sun and water. Come game day it rolls back into the stadium.

Guess our Cowboys regulars to this board are off licking their wounds somewhere.

Can you imagine if they would have made the playoffs? I don't think I could stand it. I guess they still have a chance but it doesn't look good.

Nah. It got to the point where it just became funny.

This season has been so damn frustrating to watch this year. They haven't played one complete game this year, and they're still 9-6. Inconsistencies have plagued this team from the beginning.

Penalties. Turnovers. Missed opportunities. All speak of an undisciplined team. That reflects back at the head coach.

I think the thing that's not been talked about is how poor Jason Garrett's performance has been this year. I mean, you have Romo, and even though he hasn't done much to prove himself in big games, is still a premier QB. They have had 3 (!!!!!) RB's who have proved to be more than capable this year. You have arguably the best TE in the league. You have a future HoF'er at WR, and another who has the potential to be one as well.

You have an O-Line who has done a great job of protecting Romo and providing running lanes for Barber.

With all of that talent, Garrett has failed to design an offense that can beat even the most mediocre of defenses.

Wade will be fired. But this notion that Garrett is the heir apparent is absolutely stupid.

I went to the Giants game last week, and thought I saw a team finally secure its signature win and propel them into the playoffs. I instead see a team that's too stupid do give a damn.

I almost want to see them miss the playoffs. Even if they win the WC, I don't see them beating Carolina or the Giants on the road. This team is too spineless to make a run the Giants did last year.

With all that being said, please beat the Eagles.

According to Mort, Wade Phillips is safe. He said he got the word directly from Jerry Jones. For what it's worth.
