It's time for Bugel to step down. I wish him well, He is a legend and I flat out love the guy but just lost touch with todays game. Zorn needs to bring in his guy and decide what type of line they will be and try to get players that fill those roles.
Do they want to be a cowboys type line that is built on size and power with 350LB guards or do they want smaller more mobile guys like Denver that can go upfield and cut block linebackers.
Some big Aaron Gibson type guys wont cut it in certain systems but could excel in others.
The current Skins Oline has 5 guys with mixed talents.
The Redskins wont be successful offensively till they get 5 guys who can do the same thing well.
The same goes for the redskins Front 7 on the defense.
I honestly think the redskins organization are content with the starting Dline.
I have an issue with the talents of the linebackers.
Typically, The MLB is a solid run stopper who can go sideline to sideline. We are fortunate to have one of the best. They need to decide what they want as outside linebackers. McIntosh is a quick smaller guy who can get in coverage but can get lost in the run game. Blades filled in for washington and did well in run support but was a liability in coverage. In my opinion he is Fletchers replacement at MLB and I think he will be a good one.
At outsidelinebacker, He was overmatched.
The redskins need to decide if they want larger linebackers that can plug gaps and destroy pulling guards or if they want smaller speed demons that can get around blockers and put pressure on the offense.
With our front four mostly filling gaps and not putting pressure, I want to see the redskins pickup a good blitzing linebacker that can replace Washington. In general, I want them to bring in fast linebackers that can always chase down a play.
There is no way to complete the overhaul in one year but I think it's something Zorn will have to do if he is going to be a successful coach.

agree with a lot.......but if we are counting on blades to be mlb then we are in a huge disagreement....post on here when that guy gets off a block to make a tackle within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage or tackle for loss.....he is a back up at best, in fact he is replacable in the next two drafts, talent level very low in my opinion.
