Re: Cowboys cut T.O.

I have a feeling that NE will take a look at him. They just lost their #3 wr and they have the type of team and locker room that can handle him. If they don't pick up Owens I'd expect them to look at Harrison or Holt if he is released.

This should have been a public poll.

I bet the 2 Yes votes are Dallas fans.

ha, lots of hate for TO here. That's good he deserves it. What a waste of oxygen that guy is. I'd be interested to see him on the Pats though. I hope he goes to the giants though so he can destroy their locker room...john daily style.

Re: Cowboys cut T.O.

Alright since a handful of people, save 44 and Huntz, seem to have ignored the Hall-Owens connection I guess I have to bring it up again.

NFL fines Cowboys' Owens $35,000 for spitting on Hall - NFL - ESPN

Three years ago T.O. spit on DeAngelo Hall. After the game Hall said he didn't respect the guy as a man and to this day T.O. hasn't appoligized, at least to the publics knowledge, directly to D. Hall. Sure he appologized to the public but never to D. Hall man to man.

"After Terrell Owens spit in DeAngelo Hall's face in Saturday night's game, Hall insisted he'd have nothing to do with the Dallas receiver."

So let me say this again, to everyone here playing fantasy football. The Redskins will not sign Owens while they have Hall signed to a big contract.

If Snyder signs him, we're coming to string YOU up from the goalpost.

That would be the least of my worries.

Well looks like the Front Office is addressing the TO media circus. I'm glad they are doing this, although I'm sure half of the people here won't believe this.

Yea, your totally right, no different then a Redskin WR kicking the crap out of a Redskin RB and playing together for several seasons.

Just a feeling but I bet if, and I say if, the team talked with Hall and there was an apology made people would look the other way and sign him. I don't think Snyder not being interested in T.O. has anything to do with Hall.

I just wouldn't put all my faith in Cowturds report that he spoke with a team official and they aren't interested in T.O. Cerrato has told many people in the past including on Radio that he was not interested in a player and got them. The most recent was Taylor.

Thats different. They were both under contract, sizeable contracts at that, during the time in question. This situation would be more akin to the Panthers bringing in Westbrook during Davis' time in Carolina.

You don't bring someone in from the outside that's going to cause a huge problem right from the get go. Thats just asking for trouble. Is reconciliation possible, sure. Still it's not worth the trouble for as Vinny puts it a receiver who's now three years older since they weren't interested in him.

Re: Cowboys cut T.O.

I think the only places where Owens could go and where he wouuld behave is New England or Indy. Manning and Brady demand respect.

Re: Cowboys cut T.O.

This is exactly the media attention the DS marketing machine loves. In his mind, No press is bad press.

Owens and the Redskins taking on the Cowboys at their new home opening game of the year.

If the Redskins sign Owens, They can pretty much guarantee atleast 4 prime time games this year.

I'm going to kill myself if that happens...

Re: Cowboys cut T.O.

It's funny how many teams (including a few that could use the help at WR) are coming out and flat out saying "no thanks." Ravens, 49ers, Falcons, Redskins, Browns, Vikings... I imagine that list will continue to grow.

If there is any speculation or desire by our FO to sign another WR (and I don't think there is, but IF), how about Torry Holt? Great locker room guy, durable, good mileage left at age 32, fantastic route runner....

I really hope there will never be a person like TO in DC. It would tarnish everything this franchise is based on - honor and tradition. The End.
