Re: Redskins Mt. Rushmore
Fun post. When I think "Redskin", the first number and figure that pops into my head no doubt is:
1. John Riggins. - Super bowl 17 run was just TOO unforgettable! 2. Darrell Green. - 20 years baby! All class and can still out run most players in the NFL 3. Joe Gibbs. - In his prime, no one was better. The best half time adjustments I ever saw. 4. Gary Clark. - I know, I know...how can I go with Clark over Arthur you ask? Well, he was just so much damn fun to watch play! He was little, scrappy and NEVER dropped a ball over the middle. #84 over the middle against the VaGiants on Monday Nite...Sooo friggin sweet. My honorary picks have to go to the unsung heroes: 1. Neil Olkewicz - underrated Terrapin. 2. Monte Coleman - redifined linebacker play 3. Ken Harvey - The best player on shitty teams 4. Wilbur Marshall - For the few seasons he was here, he was a friggin beast! I know, there's a pattern here. You're thinkin': "wait...where's Marvcus Patton!!"
