I don't doubt what Zorn says at all. One of the criticisms about him was he was too forthcoming with his honesty about things.

Daseal just curious what reliable sources have confirmed any contact between the Redskins and Broncos?? I haven't heard that from any reliable source such as Adam Schefter or John Clayton. JLC also says he has heard absolutely nothing.

Cutler is not even a blip on the radar. We have too many other glaring needs. If we had any intentions of pursuing him, it would have happened. Just like we are working out Sanchez, it is just a smoke screen. Our Offensive line is our weakest point. No matter who we put under Center, they have to have time from protection to convert plays not just 5 yard hitches. After a while defenses stack the box when all you have is 5 yard quick-hitters. Our defense was a top tier defense last year. No need to fix it if it isn't broken. Our O-line starters are Rabach at C, Thomas and Dockery at G, Samuels and Janson/Heyer at T. We need better depth at all of our O-line positions. If any of these players go down with an injury, our second stringers are mediocre at best. We are also long in the tooth with age at many of these positions stated. Our C doesn't even have an adequate replacement should he go down and with many teams going to a 3-4 scheme, he will be tested all season long. A smart move will be to bolster our O-line to make a stretch run this year.

Matty, perhaps my wording wasn't as accurate as it could have been. Since I don't know the names of the sources, nor does anyone else, it's hard to quantify which are good and which are bad. But there were multiple reports of league sources. I heard the same things on ESPN, Sirius NFL radio, and a quick google search brought up several articles.

What team would acknowledge interest in another QB knowing that if the trade doesn't pan out they would create a QB drama situation with thier current starter? We all know the chances of Cutler being traded anywhere are low let alone to DC...but to think that the skins are not interested just because Zorn or Vinny say so is gullable and laughable. The fact alone that the redskins have not made any contract offer to JC means that they are not completely sold on him long term so if that's the case wouldn't it be reasonable to think that they would at least look into what it would take to land Cutler? The skins may very well not be interested in Cutler, but my point is that they would deny interest regardless.

Exactly...and after the way that played out none of the teams interested in Cutler are going to raise their hands. If Cutler gets traded to a team that has a somewhat established starter then that starter is getting shipped somewhere at the same time so that there is no drama to follow.

According to one PFT.com Cutlers a drunk. I think it's no wonder the NFL is experiencing a shortage of quality QB's. Most of them are becoming drunks . Now every QB from the 2006 draft has a scandalous pic available on the internet.

And I mean who else do we got? Eli's got a drunk pic, Big Ben has one, Kyle Orton, Rex Grossman, Tony Romo. Alchol is costing the NFL +90 Passer Ratings.

I guess now we know why Kurt Warner was so good last year.

Well if that's what PFT.com says it must be true. Just because someone has a picture of Cutler drinking doesn't mean he's a drunk. It looks like he's at a wedding.

Well, given the fact that Cutler has type 1 diabetes, I highly doubt he's a drunk.

Yeah, last year we heard reports he was taking care of his Diabetes.

How'd I guess it was PFT.com that would call him a drunk? I still can't understand how anyone stomachs their National Football League Enquirer reporting.

We weren't going to get Jason Taylor or Albert Haynesworth either.

But in all honesty, we're not getting Cutler.
